WHO WE ARE:

Dr. Krista Nabar is the Executive Director of Carolina Sexual Wellness Center, and co-host and producer of Fat and Fucked. Krista is a Licensed Psychologist in North Carolina, and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist Supervisor. Krista likes kickboxing, baking, and cuddling her Sheepadoodle Olive.

Suzy Hooker is a visual artist, media manager for TV and film, fat activist, and creator, co-host, and executive producer of Fat and Fucked. Suzy likes to curse, cross stitch, and cold water swim.

Melanie Knights is a marketing maven and our P/R co-conspirator. She hosts and produces her own pod, The Culture Of It All.

Join hosts Suzy Hooker and Dr. Krista Nabar as they deconstruct the complex structures surrounding anti-fat bias and how they impact many facets of the lives of fat folks. We’ll explore fatness on a micro level, discussing individual experiences, and expand the discussion to the complex web of broader social structures that oppress fat folks. There are so many fascinating, brilliant, sexy fat people who have something to say but have been ignored because of anti-fat bias. Fat and Fucked is a platform for those voices.
